(01) Your favourite character → Grace Violet (2/2)
Grace Violet Blood is one of Skins best characters thus far. At first I thought she’d be another version of Cassie. She had a very whimsical way of being. Oh, and her fashion sense reminded me very much of Cassie’s in season one, just a bit more… upper class. As the season went on we see she’s almost nothing like Cassie. She’s smart and dignified, she’s passionate, and best of all she believes in magic. Not literally of course, but she believes in things most teenagers usually don’t, things her friends may not believe in. That probably has something to do with her love of fairytales and story books. Grace is the ray of sunshine in the group. In the beggining she was stepped on by Liv and Mini, but she found her way out through Rich. He told her never to comprise, and from then on she didn’t. I truly do believe he is her other half. Which is odd, considering they’re complete opposites. But you know what Gracie’s mom says, opposites attract. She spent her entire life beliving in miracles, and that was tested in her episode once everything started to fall apart. She was losing her magic until Rich came to her rescuse. Proposing in a way that was just perfect for Grace. I do believe Grace will overcome some sort of struggle in season six (i’m praying they won’t kill her off). Nothing’s perfect, and I think she’s starting to learn happiness is harder to achieve than she once thought. (You may delete the text if you wish when reblogging)
